Whimsical Winds Engraving Guide: A Guide To Ordering Your Personalized Engraving We make personalized gift-giving easy, fast and letter-perfect -- we guarantee it! We personally select only the highest quality wind chimes and gifts, which are then customized just for you! All of our engravings are done in-house with a Laser engraver that was built in the USA. Most of the wind chimes we offer are available to be engraved. Chimes that can be engraved have an option available on the product's listing page. We can engrave names, dates, short phrases, or poems. We can also engrave some logos, clipart, and icons by request. Please see our Custom Engraving Formats & Custom Clip Art section below. Engraving will add at least 1 day to all shipping times, and during busy seasons (April, May, June, November, & December) up to 4 days. Limited same day service is available on some products. Our engraving will not affect the warranty or musical performance of the wind chime. All of our manufacturers know we are engraving their products and have given their permission to do so. We will engrave almost anything that can be fitted nicely onto a wind chime wind sail. However, we will not engrave copyrighted images, text, or images that directly disparages or belittles people by name, political affiliations, or religions.

How To Read Engraving Form:
This is where you select to have an engraving. We can do one sided engraving on all of our engravable products. Double-sided engraving are available on select products, & the option will be visible on the order screen if it is available for the selected product. This section provides examples on all of our available fonts. All of our metal wind sails have font customization, however wooden wind sails do not. Select your desired font here. Type your desired engraving text here. Examples of recommended text formatting, based on your wind chime, are explained below.

This guide shows the best way to type in your engraving request. It is important to note that while this guide will reccommend text layouts, no specific layout is required. Our engravers will always do their best to fit your requested text engraving onto the sail of your wind chime.

Vertical Format Engravings
Vertical sails come in both metal and wooden varieties. A text format that fits a vertical rectangle works best. Some examples are shown below. Circular & Diamond Format Engravings
Many of our wind chimes come with a circular or a diamond shaped wind sail. A format with wide center line(s) and narrow top and bottom line(s) works best. Examples are shown below. Buoy Bell Engraving Formats
Our new engraved buoy bells include an engraved plaque for your heartfelt sentiments. The best format for these plaques are wide and short. An example is shown below.
